Hi friends. Just taking a moment to vent extreme frustration. My old PC, running on Vista, has decided not to accept my log in details for emails.
After several tries I gave up. I particularly wanted to tell the minister about a sick church member so I phoned him.
The guarding system
a) blocked the call b) on retry said no one was there.
Ultimately I texted the church mobile number, no knowing if it went to an office or what and - yes - I got a reply and passed the message on. Only took 40 minutes in total!!!!
Now I’m on my laptop and guess what? I got straight in to my provider and could email.
Looking through the spam because I rarely use the laptop for emailing I found 6 of 14 spammed emails should have come through to my PC but hadn’t. Oh joy. Anyway, friends, at least I can send and receive emails now and having shared this I think I’ll have a coffee. “Suffering produces patience and patience produces character…”
