“What’s the Little Lion Society?” asked Alec.
“Weel, its origins are lost in the mists of time,” said the Dewar. “Some say that the whole world was ruled by a great power called ‘The Egg Marketing Board’. Every egg in the whole world had to appear before it, and their eggsperts could see right inside ye. If they thought ye were not good enough - scrunch! Ye were made into pasteurised liquid egg.”
“Yuk!” said Coddled.
“What if you passed?” asked Scrambled.
“Ye were printed with a grand mark; something to wear and be proud of,” answered the Dewar. He opened his plaid and showed them his chest. On it was a purple picture of a little lion, one leg raised, and a crown on its head.
The pirates sat up and looked at Alec.

The Great Marketing Board, have a way to somehow “See right inside ye”. And then make a judgement. This theme is evidenced throughout the Bible, for example Samuel is told, “People look at the outside, but the Lord looks at the heart. (1 Sam 16:v7)
What do we hope to find on the inside? What might the stamp represent?
