This fits the tune Horsley, commonly known as ‘There is a green hill far away’.
’Twas on the pier with fish and chips
I thought I’d happy be,
’til I leant o’er the safety rail
and dropped them in the sea!
The gulls came down in a great flock,
it was quite a sight to see.
They gobbled all my fish and chips
and brought none back to me!
It made me sad, I felt quite blue.
I got angry and saw red.
I had no fish and chips to eat -
so I bought a pie instead.
